Paul O'Grady's cause of death has been revealed after star Lily Savage died suddenly aged 67.
The Wild Lily star died suddenly but peacefully in her "bed" on March 28 with her husband Andre Portacio by her side.
"He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, pets and all who enjoyed his humor, intelligence and compassion," Portacio said in a statement at the time.
Dog Love has tapped into the stars to love dogs from big names in the world of entertainment, including Sir Elton John, and from the royal family.
No cause of death was announced at the time but now it has been stated as sudden cardiac arrhythmia syndrome (SADS).
According to his death certificate obtained by the Daily Express, the illness was related to the ischemic heart disease of the host Blankey Blank.
SADS is when someone dies suddenly and unexpectedly from a cardiac arrest, but the cause of the cardiac arrest can’t be found, according to the British Heart Foundation.
The NHS explains that ischemic heart disease occurs when blood flow is blocked or cut off by a build-up of fatty substances in the arteries.
The government body adds that it is a major cause of death in the UK and worldwide.
