Infinity War Deleted 45-Minute Sequence Of Thanos Destroying Xandar & Stealing First Infinity Stone

Thanos Destroying Xandar & Stealing First Infinity Stone .

Avengers: Infinity War cut to a 45-minute sequence of Thanos destroying Xandar and stealing the first Infinity Stone, the Power Stone.
Avengers: Infinity War was groundbreaking as it brought together multiple heroes from different MCU franchises to fight the Mad Titan.
She also presented the story that inspired Avengers: Infinity War - "Infinity Gauntlet" - revealing that a 45-minute sequence of Xandar being undermined by Thanos, with the villain stealing the Power Stone, was cut from the film.
According to Starlin, a month before the film premiered, Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo told him that a 45-minute sequence of Thanos taking the Power Stone from Xandar had been cut from the beginning of the film. Starlin then shockingly revealed that the entire sequence was filmed. Check out the full quote below:

"But about a month before the movie came out, I got an email or something from Joe saying, 'We cut the 45 minutes of Thanos we had at the beginning of Infinity War. There was a whole sequence of him getting the first jewel. And they had to cut it off. It was [game over].
The destruction of Xandar by Thanos could still be shown in the MCU
It was strange that Thanos' destruction of Xandar wasn't shown in Avengers: Infinity War, as it was the only time audiences didn't get to see the villain collect one of the Infinity Stones. While the cutoff moment ultimately didn't make the movie worse, there's still interest in the upcoming MCU project, which will reveal through flashbacks who Thanos was able to get the Power Stone and destroy Xandar.
Thanos being dead in the MCU doesn't affect the possibility of Marvel returning to that moment. In fact, there is already a great project to show a version of the 45-minute short sequence of Avengers: Infinity War.
While Marvel hasn't officially announced, the Nova series has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. With Thanos destroying the Nova Corps on Xandar in order to obtain the Power Stone, Marvel's Nova series could feature flashbacks to this chaotic event, as Richard Ryder appears as the sole survivor of the carnage - essentially a concept for Avengers: Infinity It was war.
Another possible project that could see flashbacks to the heartbreaking battle is Eternals 2. While a sequel to Chloé Zhao's Eternals has yet to be announced by Marvel, one post-production scene from the original film included the arrival of Harry Styles as Eros – Thanos' brother.
With Eros possibly appearing in Eternals 2, it makes sense that his relationship with Thanos should be explored. However, Marvel doesn't miss an opportunity to reuse its most famous villain.

The reveal that Eros was actually on Xandar to witness the destruction allows audiences to finally see a cut version of Avengers: Infinity War.
